SAVE THE DATE! World Dog Show 2027 in Tulln 
Finaler Standort, gleiche Vorfreude
Viele von euch wussten: Ursprünglich war Wels als Austragungsort für die World Dog Show 2027 angeedacht. Mit der vertieften Planung und vielen Gesprächen mit der community wurde in den letzten Wochen klar, dass dieses internationale Großereignis besondere Rahmenbedingungen braucht. Deshalb haben wir nach intensiver Prüfung final entschieden: 
Die WDS 2027 findet in Tulln (Messe Tulln) statt.
Ausschlaggebend waren:
mehr verfügbare Hallenflächen und optimale internationale Logistik
Nähe zu Wien und erprobte Verkehrsführung
großzügige Camping- und Parkmöglichkeiten
Infrastruktur für tausende Hunde und Gäste aus aller Welt
Wels bleibt selbstverständlich ein zentraler Standort für nationale und internationale ÖKV Ausstellungen und ein Fixpunkt im ÖKV-Ausstellungskalender mit ausgezeichneter Zusammenarbeit. Das ÖKV-Organisationsteam wurde unter dem weltweit erfahrenen Ausstellungsexperten und internationalen Allround-Richter Peter Friedrich Berchtold völlig neu aufgestellt und ist nach einem erfolgreichen Ausstellungsjahr 2025 bereits gut im Schwung. Peter F. Berchtold leitet auch das WDS2027-Organisationsteam.

World Dog Show 2027: New location, same excitement! Many of you knew that Wels was originally considered as the venue for the World Dog Show 2027. With in-depth planning and many discussions with the community in recent weeks, it became clear that this major international event requires special conditions. Therefore, after intensive consideration, we have made the final decision: The WDS 2027 will take place in TULLN (Lower Austria).
The decisive factors were:
More indoor space available & otimal international logistics
Close to Vienna and great traffic management
Generous camping and parking facilities
Infrastructure for thousands of dogs and guests from all over the world
Wels remains, of course, a great and important location for national and international ÖKV dog shows with excellent cooperation. We are looking forward to the handover in Bologna in May 2026 and to presenting Austria as the host country! The organization team has been completely revamped under the lead of internationally expirences Allround-Judge Peter F. Berchtold and is already well on track after a successful exhibition year in 2025. Peter leads the organization team for WDS2027 .
Preparations are already underway. We look forward to hosting WDS in 2027. We are ready.
